There is a Ministry for Everyone

There is nothing greater than being the child of the Living God. Beyond our salvation, there is nothing greater than being a part of a local congregation of believers who, individually and collectively seek to be Christ - like in every phase of their lives, publicly and privately. As children of God, and as a members of Brooking Heights Baptist Church, we have responsibilities to fulfill because of our relationship to Christ and our commitment to our community. Here is just some of the ministries that have begun in our local church. Please take the time to pray for these ministries and if you go to our church pray about joining them. We hope to see more ministries starting from now until our Lord Jesus Christ comes back.

Our Food Ministry:
Harvestors

There is a local program in the Kansas City area called Harvesters. These people distribute tons upon tons of food everyday that grocery stores could not use. Our Church takes part in distributing food that comes in though this program via another church just down the road from us. God has blessed this and provides food for many families. Our Audio and Visual Department:

Anyone wanting to learn how to edit videos, photos, audio, and basic web design are welcome in learning from church member Jonathan Lombardi. Were hoping to get some more people trained in using the technical stuff for the church. This department is more or less the media outlet for the church in spreading the gospel in all these areas. ers of our church that are out in the streets holding gospel signs. Others our out preaching on street corners. Some make phone calls. Several people in the church are very experaniced in what we like to call door knocking. These people would be more than glad to see people join them in one of our bigest cause, reaching lost people for Christ. "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." -Jesus
